Theme #6: Tied to the Land

I never really liked simple themes - I’ve always been a fan of complex layouts - but I wanted to create a theme that focused mainly on the posts and less on a sidebar or header or background.

This theme is based around the movie, Brave, and the song from its soundtrack, “Touch the Sky,” by Julie Fowlis. This theme includes:

• A blog title (different from the actual title).
• Every single color and background in this theme can be changed, as well as the fonts and images in the theme.
• A header that’s hidden until you hover over the top links.
• The option to use your icon as the header image, or upload a different image in its place.
• Four optional, customizable links.
• NEW! The option to show tags at the bottom of the posts.
• The option to use the Webkit Scroll Bar.
